Welcome to the 2006 ELDAsThe ELDAs are online awards designed at honoring writers and artists whose muses
are Tolkien's elves, or elven folk related to the elves in Tolkien's works.
Hosted by Dream Elf, the emphasis of
the ELDAs is to have fun and to be able to experience all of the nominated
works. You will find no categories for entire works except those
which are able to be seen or read quickly. Instead, you will find
categories such as 'Most Romantic Line' or 'Best Het Drabble' or 'Best
Ending of a Slash Fic (not to exceed 500 words)'. We want those who
will be voting (namely, you!) to have the chance to experience all of the
works presented in a category before making a decision.

the menu to the left to make your selection. We have a full rules
section, a listing of categories, a place to make your nominations, and
also a place to find a listing of nominees. If you would like to
volunteer to help with the ceremony, we would be delighted to have you on
the team. Anyone kind enough to link to our site will be placed in
the links section - please contact us when you link to us so we know to
reciprocate! Contact information is available if you have any
questions, comments, or find any big boo-boos on the site that need
